Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

Locations
The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Please refer to the exam pages for more details on exam topics, exam conditions and conditions, as well as additional guidelines. Faculty can view their exam times via the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. For evening classes, final exams are scheduled during the regular class time during the final week of exams.

Registration
The exam schedule is accessible online and students are encouraged to consult it. It is important to keep in mind that the schedule for exams may change at any time. Students should therefore check with their instructors for the correct date and time of their exam. Students should be sure to print the official list and bring it to their exam.

Exam sites try their best to accommodate participants who have special requirements. The nature and degree of these needs should be declared on the registration form, and then confirmed by a doctor's attestation. Additionally, secret info must respect and maintain confidentiality.

If a student is scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they must contact their instructor or department in order to arrange for a make-up test. Although it is possible to take three exams in one day, it can cause an increase in stress levels and can affect the quality of the test. The instructor may not be able to offer an opportunity to take a makeup test on a different day.
Before taking the test students must prepare by reviewing their syllabus and practicing their German skills. The test is a test on paper that tests the ability to speak, read and write in German. The results of the exam are reported on a scale of A1 to C2. Students who pass the exam receive an Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate confirms that the student has achieved the level of language A1. This level is the initial stage of the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free of cost. Students must carry a valid government ID to the exam. Anyone who does not have an acceptable photo ID will be disqualified from the exam.
Fees
If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to be awarded the Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you will need to pay the examination fee. This fee is in addition the course fee.
Practice tests give you an overview of the format of the questions, their wording and the difficulty of questions on the test. They help you assess your knowledge, identify areas of weakness and increase your chances of passing the test.
It is important to note that the exam fee isn't refundable. The results of the examination are only available via email and not by phone.
